Meet Dr. Joselyn Miller: Our New Emergency Medicine Service Fellow

We are excited to welcome Dr. Joselyn Miller to our team as the new Emergency Medicine Service Fellow! Hailing from the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Dr. Miller brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our program.

Outside of her medical pursuits, Dr. Miller is passionate about outdoor adventures, often exploring the breathtaking landscapes of the Southwest. Whether hiking in national parks or traveling to new destinations, she embraces every opportunity to connect with nature. In addition, she enjoys crafting, using her creativity to unwind and share joy with others.

Dr. Miller is committed to mentorship and looks forward to guiding the next generation of medical professionals during her fellowship. After completing her training, she plans to focus on event medicine and telehealth, aiming to bridge the gap between healthcare access and innovation. Ultimately, she aspires to take on a medical directorship role, where she can lead initiatives that enhance patient care.
We are thrilled to have Dr. Miller on board and look forward to her contributions to our team and the community!

Shanesse Spratt 2024

Introducing Dr. Shanesse Spratt: Our New Sports Medicine Fellow


We are delighted to welcome Dr. Shanesse Spratt as our new Sports Medicine Fellow! Originally from Rock Hill, South Carolina, Dr. Spratt brings a dynamic perspective to our program.
A true sports enthusiast, Dr. Spratt has a deep passion for soccer, both on and off the field. When she’s not working, you can find her exploring new destinations, indulging her inner foodie, or challenging friends to trivia nights. Her love for travel fuels her curiosity and broadens her experiences, enriching her approach to sports medicine.
After her fellowship, Dr. Spratt plans to work in a local emergency room while also providing coverage for college sports teams. She is dedicated to enhancing athlete care and supporting their journey to peak performance.
We’re excited to have Dr. Spratt join our team and look forward to her contributions to both sports medicine and our community!

Welcome Dr. Neema Shah: Our New Sports Medicine Fellow

We are thrilled to introduce Dr. Neema Shah, our new Sports Medicine Fellow from San Jose, California! Dr. Shah joins us with a strong passion for both emergency and sports medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Shah loves to travel and immerse herself in nature, seeking new adventures that inspire her both personally and professionally. She is dedicated to health and fitness, often exploring the latest trends in wellness, and enjoys unwinding with a good book.
After completing her fellowship, Dr. Shah hopes to practice in both emergency and sports medicine. If that’s not possible, she plans to focus on emergency medicine while providing sideline coverage for athletic events. Her commitment to athlete care and holistic health makes her a valuable addition to our team.

Toxicology Fellow

Zariad Saran 2020Introducing Dr. Zariad Saran: Our New Toxicology Fellow

We are excited to welcome Dr. Zariad Saran as our new Toxicology Fellow! Hailing from Teaneck, New Jersey, Dr. Saran brings a unique blend of expertise and enthusiasm to our team.
When he’s not immersed in the world of toxicology, Dr. Saran enjoys tinkering with cars and fixing things around the house—though he often jokes that some projects are more for his wife than for necessity! An avid gamer and football fan, he balances his academic pursuits with a passion for lifting weights and staying active.
After completing his fellowship, Dr. Saran aims to work in clinical or forensic toxicology, alongside emergency medicine. His diverse interests and dedication to patient care will undoubtedly make a significant impact on our community.
We are thrilled to have Dr. Saran on board and look forward to the contributions he will make during his time with us!

 

 

 

Research Fellow

Janna Williams 2024Welcome Dr. Janna Williams: Our New Research Fellow

We are pleased to introduce Dr. Janna Williams as our new Research Fellow! Originally from Midhurst, Ontario, Canada, Dr. Williams recently completed her fellowship in Emergency Medicine Services and is eager to dive into her research pursuits.
A multifaceted individual, Dr. Williams has a passion for rugby, which reflects her team spirit and dedication. She also enjoys musical performance, showcasing her talents on the guitar, vocals, and clarinet. In her downtime, she loves to cook and experiment with fermenting, embracing the art of culinary creation.
Looking ahead, Dr. Williams plans to continue her work in emergency medicine, focusing on education and improving EMS practices. Her commitment to advancing the field and enhancing patient care makes her a valuable addition to our team.
